I received a call from our own Lyle Earl ( pegleg). Not only is his mother having health problems Lyle is also. He is now in a wheel chair, and has been for some time with a broken pelvis and other issues. There is talk about going on perminate disability. I know for a fact after talking with him he needs our support, in a card or phone call.

Dave

Dave, So did you get the info you needed?
Lyle, our prayers are with you my brother. Our wish is that you and your mother may recover and become well again.

Thank you so much for your love and support!! In October I went in to have my right hip replaced due to severe arthritis and during the surgery my lower pelvis was fractured; considering I already have an artifical leg (hence the name "Pegleg") I've been in a wheelchair waiting for my pelvis to heal. I am now far enough along that I can begin rehab for the reason I had surgery in the first place; however, I have been down so long that my muscles have atrophied so I'm now looking at another month or so before I can be out of the wheelchair permanently. The doc has suggested I take my time getting back to work so I'm looking at an extended disability due to other ongoing issues. It's been a long recovery and I have truly seen the world from a different view; I'll never take anything for granted again. My wife and children have been incredible and I don't know what I would do without them. We're on the upswing but still have a long way to go; the only consolation I have is that it's not permanent which I'm very grateful for.

Also, my mother is holding her own with her heart troubles; my father died in June and she is struggling through the holidays so we are spending as much time as we can in keeping her mind off of it all.

Overall we are doing GREAT!!!! It's been a real ride and we've learned that even the best laid plans can go south and turn you upside down.

Thanks again for everything ---- especially your friendship; we truly have alot to be grateful for this year.

Very Sincerely,

Lyle
