We are a month away and we are a few teams short of making this a qualifier; since this is a first year event we only need 15 teams. We also need more judges and volunteers to help out. Please click on this link <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.utahbbq.org/viewtopic.php?t=2057">http://www.utahbbq.org/viewtopic.php?t=2057</a><!-- m --> to download the applications. I will post an updated team count this weekend. To the judges who have sent in their apps, I will send out an e-mail confirmation this weekend as well.

Yo, I should have some fliers here to be distributed pertaining to the backyard competition. I will need volunteers to help distribute them. If we can get one of you guys up North to cover the outlets up there it would be appreciated. I also new the Utah County area hit. Myself and a few others will take care of this Valley. Stone brothers call me please. Thanks for your help.
T, I can stop by this weekend and pick some up from you if that will help you out. We can hit the Orem to American Fork areas pretty easy. Mike
Man, I wanted to cook at this one!! Unfortunately, I just had knee surgery a week ago and I'm to be on crutches for a month (no weight bearing at all). This will be right after the time I'm supposed to be done with the crutches, but I'm not sure what my doc will say. There's a chance he may have me on them longer (up to 8 weeks!). Since It's possible I'd have to back out if the knee isn't up to snuff, I decided not to cook. Sorry. I hope that enough teams sign up.

I can, however, judge this one. Sammy can as well. The post said that you need judges, is this still the case? If so, I'll send in the apps today. Thanks.

Lyle, the Piggies are planning on being there. I'll get the app out this week...
I should be able to make it to this one.

rod and i were gone until today. Our dad passed away on May 5th, sorry for not getting back to yoy.. call me 801-859-4037

My Wife and I should be able to judge.....

Thanks to all those who have replied, please download your judging app and get it in the mail to me please. The cooks, please send your entry forms to the address listed on the application. I've been working 12-14 hours a day lately and have been trying to play catch up, I'll get e-mails sent out as soon as I can.

Can I email you the judging app?

What are the northern outlet's?....If I could get a list, I would be glad to come and get the flyers and help out.......Let me know....

I'm in for the backyard BB-Q. sending apllication today!

R Stone
Brenda and I sent our judging apps yesterday.
I would love to judge this one, but we have our 3rd one on the way and the due date is June 10th so I hate to commit to anything for this comp or Snowbird. This is the reason we aren't competing at either of these. We'll catch you later in the year.

go ahead and e-mail it to me and I will just print it off. I'm trying to play catch up and will send an e-mail confirmation out to all the judges this weekend. Thanks for your paitence.
Just want to give a shout to Tarra of H20 for the nice job she did on the back yard fliers. Thanks again girl.
I printed out a bunch and have been posting them wherever I can down here in "Happy Valley"
If these are something that I can just make copies of, could someone send me one in the mail and I will make copies and post some around here?
If your willing, PM me and I will get you my address.
Better yet, you could email me a copy.
Thanks, Mike
The flyers are on the front page of this website. The pdf is under the "backyard contest flyer." Let me know if you can't download it or have problems and I will send you the .pdf via email.

I am so looking forward to this comp. I just hope I can maintain and give a good showing.
