Lemon Ribs

1/2 cup water
1 chicken-flavored bouillon cube
1 cup pineapple juice
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup minced onion
1/4 cup catsup
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons cornstarch
salt and pepper to taste

This recipe can be used for grilling over slow coals or smoking. With either method use as a baste or mop. This will do one rack. I double the recipe just to be safe. Combine the first 9 ingredients in a saucepan, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, stir well. Lower heat, and simmer about five minutes; then set aside. Smoke bone side down all the way, if grilling start with meat side down then after browned turn meat side up.
