Smoking pros- I've never smoked salmon (not looking to cold smoke) before but want to give it a go this weekend. Any recommendations or pieces of advice?

A friend gave me a recipe for a "paste". The directions say to smoke on 'high' for 30 minutes? Not sure how to translate that to a WSM.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can either plank it or put it on foil to help keep the grill from getting fishy.
