Prize Money: $3,000

Entry and Space Fees:
One 20’ x 30’ space and entry into competition for BBQ Chicken, Pork Ribs, Pork Butt, Brisket

Non-Member Pro Division $150
*Member Pro Division $100*,
Non-Member Backyard Division $50
*Member Backyard Division $35*.

Judging will be on Saturday, April 27th, 2013. Judges need to arrive no later than 10am.

Turn-In Times:

Pro's:
Chicken - 11a
Pork Butt - 12 Noon
Brisket - 1p

Backyard:
Chicken - 1:30p
Pork Ribs - 2p

Awards will be at 3p.

They will be a Pot Luck dinner hosted by the Utah BBQ Organization at 7p on Friday night. If you would like to make a dish for the dinner, please feel free to do so. But do not feel like you need to cook to attend - there will be plenty of food!

Pro Division competitors must enter all three (3) categories to qualify for Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion.

Backyard Division competitors must enter both Chicken and Pork Ribs to qualify for Grand Champion.

If you want to become a member of Utah BBQ Organization to get discounted entry fees, please do that first, so I can give you your Membership # and we can send you your Membership Card.

The Chief Cook should obtain the membership for the team they intend to represent. MEMBERSHIP PAGE if they want to take advantage of the discounted fees!

This now has a Governors letter of recognition, and with 15 teams it would be a Jack Daniels Invitational Draw Qualifier!

So if you fancy a chance to get your bung drawn, for a trip to the Jack Daniels Invitational, this would be a good contest to take part in this year!
