March 28/29 Utah BBQ Organization & Great Western BBQ Events present:

Mark Miller Subaru Spring BBQ Fling!

Location: Mark Miller Subaru – (Exact location TBD)

Pro 4 meats + Garnish:
Chicken /Pork Ribs/ Pork Shoulder / Brisket
Backyard meats: Chicken / Pork Ribs
Utah BBQ Rep: Mugsy Glenn
Prize Money: $3,000
Entry Fee Pro: $150/$100
Entry Fee Backyard: $50/$35

Entry and Space Fees:
One 20’ x 30’ space and entry into competition for BBQ Chicken, Pork Ribs, Pork Butt, Brisket

Judging will be on Saturday, March 29th, 2013. Judges need to arrive no later than 10am.

Pro Division competitors must enter all four (4) categories to qualify for Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion.

Backyard Division competitors must enter both Chicken and Pork Ribs to qualify for Grand Champion.

Pro's:
Chicken - 12 Noon
Pork Ribs - 12:30p
Pork Butt - 1p
Brisket - 1:30p

Backyard:
Chicken - 2p
Pork Ribs - 2:30p

Awards will be at 3:30p.

If you want to become a member of Utah BBQ Organization to get discounted entry fees, please do that first, so I can give you your Membership # and we can send you your Membership Card.

The Chief Cook should obtain the membership for the team they intend to represent. MEMBERSHIP PAGE if they want to take advantage of the discounted fees!

It won't let me sign up the pay pal won't work for me to pay for my membership or the comp.

(If, because I am still working on it) If Mark Miller Subaru is willing to provide 1 or 2 pork butts to some teams, will you guys be willing to cook them for the Mark Miller Subaru employees???

We also need to clarify something for the the Backyard Teams, after some discussion with the Managing Members... In 2014 there will be a Separate Division added to some of our Competition, called a Kids Q! This will be separate from the Backyard Division and help to grow both of these Categories for BBQ!
Fidel, I can cook a couple of butts for you too...
Who else is planning on cooking this event? We need a few more to make this a Jack Daniels Qualifier...!
