FYI - I posted a fire-roasted salsa recipe the other day.

John, being from Arizona I love salsa. Not the HOT third degree burners or the ones used to clean the toxic waste dumps but a nice full flavored mediuim heat one. I enjoy the habenero, poblano, serano, jalepano, and the canned chipotle peppers in mine Mixed with the colored bells, and yellow wax pepper. Mmmmm, chips and salsa!!
The picture and the recipe look good!!
Go Cinco de Mayo!

Yep, me too. I had to keep this on the mild side for the masses (it was a people's choice contest), but I would use hotter peppers for just me.

That stuff looks good, John!!! My preference is to have it hot enough to start the sweat, but still tasting the chips and salsa. Bring on the jalepenos!!!

John, I gotta tell ya, your blog is going to be the death of me... Seriously, keep up the good work. The salsa looks killer. Did you take the pic?

Ah shucks, thanks, Hoss. As I've said before, it's become a labor of love. Yes, that is my pic. Every food picture on the blog is mine, as are the recipes -- unless specifically attributed. I also submit some shots to Food Gawker, but their editors are very selective. If you haven't checked that site out, do so and thank me later.
P.S. Did you ever try the Cheater French Onion Soup? If so, I am very interested in your brutally honest feedback.
