Silly thing about killed me rolling it off of the back of the truck... heavy as hell... Thanks Larry... I will give her a great home... going to try smoked meatloaf this weekend... saw it on Pitmasters and sounded like a good idea...

fidel... I believe you may be right... the fire that would put my tejas at 300... brought the lang to 200... seems like it is going to eat more wood... but lots easier to manage the lower temps I looking for... I am loving it so far....
smoky burgers tonight.. smoked meatloaf tomorrow...

Mmurry. We need to talk some time. I love cooking on my Lang. It has taken me a few cooks to get the hang of it. Each Lang is a little different but pretty much all the same

that would be cool... I am all for learning everything I can... I live in sandy are you in the valley???
I cooked on the lang again last night and man I like cooking on this thing... tilapia and chicken thighs... it is so much easier to maintain the temps... and the heat is different from my last smoker... maybe more radiant??? rather than the convection? I do know the food seems to keep a little more of the moisture on the lang....
