What do you guys think about the Sam’s Club BBQ Tour having an Open Registration process now?
From Sam's Club/KCBS:
If one contest just isn’t enough for you, you’re in luck! The Sam’s Club National BBQ Tour will commence Open Registration on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 12:00 p.m. EST allowing you to double your chances at moving past the local qualifying round to the regional level.
Note: While your team may compete in multiple local events, you can only advance to compete in a single regional event. In the event you make it to one of the top six places in more than one local qualifying event, your team will compete only in the regional event in which you first qualified.
Open Registration will remain open until the last spot on the Sam’s Tour has been filled, so if you want to increase your chances, or just want another shot at perfecting your competition barbecue, don’t miss out on this opportunity!

Interesting to see who is going where in region four. I expected to see the Peppers and R&Q in AZ but to see that C DUB has a team in Washington and that Scotty Johnson is cooking there. Trigger must like Colorado cause he was there last year. Maybe with three of our towns filled up some of the waiting list will fill our team list.
If your thinking about it......don't think to long. We may fill faster than last year.
