A tale of two Fatties - bud-wie-ser - 03-23-2014 09:51 PM

I had the irresistable urge to make some fatties this weekend, one Bacon Cheeseburger, and one Reuben.

First the Bacon Cheeseburger fatty.
2-1/2 lbs ground chuck:

Sliced Onions:

Pre-cooked Bacon:

Grated Cheddar Cheese:

All Rolled up and wrapped with Bacon:

And now on to the Reuben Fatty.
First I rinsed and ground a 3 Lb corned beef point, Layered it in the pan over plastic wrap, then added minced garlic, sliced swiss cheese, and sourkraut.

Rolled it all up and wrapped with Bacon then tossed onto the UDS at 300°

Both Fatties finished and resting:

and of course I had to try the reuben on some rye bread with russian dressing:
