In the "Rubs & Spices" section you will learn the definition of a rub, it includes recipes and helpful hints to make your cooking experience more enjoyable.

The "Smokin' Woods" page is an near-complete list of known woods that are suitable for smoking. The type of wood, the flavor it produces, and its recommended use is also listed; this site also provides insight as to which woods to avoid and why. When it comes to smoking meat, it's wise to heed to the tried and true methods and experience of others.
