Jumping on that DO bandwagon
I got my DO seasoned last night and decided to try some yeast roll. I used the recipe that T posted. (very helpful video). Gotta say that I am hooked now. The rolls turned out great. Here are a few pics to prove that it happened.

What is going on here? I thought this was a BBQ site! Actually my love for the black pot is what started me on the road to true BBQ. It's fun to now see some bbq friends make the jump into the good old DO. I just hope that I don't end up owning as many smokers as ovens. 25 plus ovens take up space, my wife cusses me everytime she sees them in the shed. I don't what she'll do if I keep buying smokers maybe 5 is enough. I hope I can stop, unfortunately it's just another addiction. Keep On Smokin!!! Happy 4th.

It's about BBQ and other good eats, too. Johns pizza, ie. try a pizza, or cookies in a dutch oven. Good vittles there also.

Ok T here are the cinamon roll you were hinting at. Took a little longer than the bread. Right at 40 minutes.

Yo Doug, good job man. I wanted to cook today with my pots, but fiddle faddled around, sounds like me huh, fiddle faddled around, until time had passed me by.

I know, I know I BBQ too! I just love the black pots so much I just have to share. We've created quite a stir with it. It has been a lot of fun seeing everybody pulling their pots out of storage and making good eats! Especially this time of year, you can make fresh bread and not heat your house to death. My hispanic neighbors came over today amazed at the Creme Brulle and french bread I made. They said "I thought people only made potatoes in those things! That's the beauty of it. Black pots and a BBQ pit, there ain't nothing I can't make between the two! Big Grin
