Chirp... Chirp... Chirp...

Man, for being National BBQ Month, it's deader than Elvis here on the forum of late.

Does anyone have plans to cook anything good this weekend?

Yep. He assumed room temperature after a tragic gastrointestinal evacuation incident -- also known as bathroom tile poisoning.

"gastrointestinal evacuation incident" So he pooped himself to death? I can die from that?

I believe it was actually the lack of gastrointestinal evacuation. The coroner described it as "clay like".

Nice! We should have some nice pics of a couple weekend cooks.

Please keep your gastrointestinal parts in their upright and stowed position, even after we come to a complete stop. Big Grin

Re: Chirp... Chirp... Chirp...
Well, I don't know about National BBQ Month, but I've been cooking every weekend since March!! Today I'm doing two butts and 2 racks of St. Louis Ribs. Monday, I did some ribs in my Weber Kettle that I think were my best yet. Now I'm trying to duplicate them on my smoker. Just been experimenting with different rubs, mops, mustard slathers and injection bastes. Also been trying some different cooking techniques. Can't wait until the Wild West!!

I have some Bacon to slow smoke and some chicken leg quarters to do for eats for the week.

There may be some practice for the Wild West this week or next!

Respice, adspice, prospice. Latin proverb.
Respice = you didn't use enough spice the first time! adspice = you ought to add spice, you know? prospice = you should be an advocate for spice!
