Hi One & All:

The Village of Trees event is almost here. To date, we have 10 teams signed up. $1500 PRIZE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me know by Friday night (7/18/09) if you need an RV site. After that, I can't guarantee you will get one.

OK.....you last minute dudes, now is the time to get your entry forms in. You won't want to miss out on all the fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Idaho Competition Village of Trees RV Resort BBQ Cookoff
Contestants,

I am not speaking for Colleen, But the site she has chosen has ample room
for 10' or 20' cooking sites , with those of you with R V's ,set up in front of the sites , kinda like the Wild West set-up.

Please let her know if you are bringing your R V's so she can allocate the spaces. The Park will be at capaicity this week-end. So we will have a lot of lookie-looks.

I am looking forwartd to cooking with most of you again, and also meet the teams i havn't cooked with yet.

I doubt it Mike, not enough funds in the coffers to get my guzzler there and back again. But then again, it might be kind of fun to take a drive up that way.

Colleen, What's the latest we'd be able to sign up and get monies to you?

This would be my first solo cook, not sure if I'm ready to attempt it though.

Not to be pushy, but this would be an ideal comp for your first solo. It's small and low-key, with no real heavy hitters.

Re: Idaho Competition Village of Trees RV Resort BBQ Cookoff
I agree with John, if you have never jumped out and have wanted to compete, this is the comp. to do it! low entry fee ($100) with a payout that could cover that. John will agree, its anyones game, on any day a new team can get calls to the stage, and do very well! we have seen it many times  Colleen/ Omar? I do believe we are getting close to 14 teams???, anyone heard from Big Hole or PitMaster, I see only two Utah teams HQO, and TumbleWeed, would be nice to see more :?

Hi guys, Just talked to T and he said he should be there. He's curious if anyone wants to do a potluck on Friday. I should be getting there at around 6:00 pm. I could not get time off from work on such short notice. I am all for it if I can cook something quickly. Maybe the usual 7:00 pm?

I spoke with Tom Wallin this morning and the comp is definitely happening (Aug 29/30). I don't want to hijack this thread. The PNWBA will be posting the details on their site later today. Suffice it to say that it is a full-blown four meat comp with at least $2500 total purse.
