Sampson, get yourself a golf cart or something like that. Maybe a heavy duty motorized cooler. 150 Qt, 427 Chevy motor, blown, or injected with nitrous. Go fast rig ya know. Cragar wheels, the works.

Bombowly, judging applications usually go out two months or less from the contest, but I'll bet Arlie will be happy to knew that there are folks thinking about judging already.

There may be a CBJ class connected to any contest, there wa one with the GotH this year, and that's often the point at which judges are offering their services.

Respice = you didn't use enough spice the first time! adspice = you ought to add spice, you know? prospice = you should be an advocate for spice!

Re: 2009 Grill on the Hill
Joel long time no see. I was at the CBJ class at Snowbird too. Hopefully you and your wife will be able to help judge this event. Arlie does a great job of organizing and running this competition and I'm sure as the time gets closer he'd be more than willing to take applications for CBJ's.

Sampson,
I got just the thing for ya. Go to www.joegayle.blogspot.com and scroll to the very bottom. It'll get ya up and down the hill with the greatest of ease. More info is at
http://www.hossflyinc.com .
I may want to borrow it a time or two and I'll bet the folks at valet parking would park it for free just to take a spin on it.

True, but it's a hoot to drive and it might just do the trick for Sampson and a lot more fun than a chairlift. An eye catching grocery getter and 25 MPH is wild on it.
By the way, if you need a chuckle, go to "older posts" at the bottom of the blogspot and read what happens in a 1984 Ghetto-bago and 2200 miles.

Hi three4Que,
dang i don't know you by your forum handle. You must have a great memory. I really wish I could compete but I am just a baby when it comes to BBQ skills. I am working on it though. Doing all my smoking on a Weber Kettle for now, until I can afford a Weber bullet. I am getting better but no where near competition skills. Anyway I love this stuff, and it is exciting being around others who love it. I will keep checking back on here for the judging app. Thanks for the info!

Yo Ed, up the hill East of Sandy in the mountains. We enter the canyon up 9400 s. This route allows you a choice of several market stops if need be. Great comp, hope to see ya there?
