Slaw
Does anyone have a good slaw recipe for pulled pork. I have a great one for hotdogs and have not used it on pulled pork yet and looking for a back up. Cooking for a lot of people this weekend and want to have a couple of choices out there if you know what I mean.

Thanks in advance for any help

Tom

Re: Slaw
I like the Tidewater coleslaw a whoooole lot. Just served it to 200 people and had some coleslaw "notlikers" come back for more. The recipe posted does half a bag of Sam's Club slaw, double it for a whole bag. I like to make half a bag in a large 10 Qt container, (also from Sam's) shake it up, add the other half bag, shake it up and let sit in the refer over night.

Re: Slaw
I'm interested in a good slaw recipe myself Viper. The instructions on the back of the cole slaw packages just don't taste that great. The best i've had is from KFC and Mimi's here in Layton. So, if Tidewaters is as good as norm and Larry say, I'm all over it. I'd love to try "T" and Becci's though. Dang, now i'm hungry for pulled pork and slaw myself. I'll just have to smoke a pork butt this weekend.

Re: Slaw
No T,
This is the sauce as I can best recall (Makes enough for 20lbs cabbage):
1Qt Jar Hellman's Mayo
1/2 Cup Apple cider vinegar
1/2 Jar McCormick It's a Dilly Seasoning soaked in the vinegar overnight or longer
1 bottle Drew's all natural Thai Sesame dressing
1-3 TBSP sugar to taste
1tsp sea salt

Mix, Chill, and Toss with a friend(a cute one preferably), put in aluminum pans nested with ice in bottom one and cover with foil to keep cold and crisp.
