The link to www.idahoribs.com doesn't work.

Re: Eagle Rib Cook Off and SpudFest
I left her a message on her voice mail. She told me this morning that they have had problems with the link/website.

Its going to be a BIG event, KCBS sanctioned, and a Jack qualifier!

Dave

Edit: I just downloaded the info. that is available, and myself do have some questions, so I called Monihan (Cyclops), who in fact has not seen this document yet, and I asked him to look at it for some review and clarification. So, I want to ask everyone to "Hang tight" for a bit, and not start e-mails and phone calls to these people.

Thanks
Dave

Just got an opportunity to look at the registration forms for the Rib Cook-off in Eagle. rather than post what I "think" some of these items mean, I will speak with Teresa tomorrow morning and then she, or I, will supply clarification. The Big Hog thing is me! Why are you all trying to take my money?? After all I have done for you!! Shame Shame!!

Anyone considering competing in the competition? I'd really like to sit in with a team if they would allow. Of course, I'd help split the costs.

Re: Eagle Rib Cook Off and SpudFest
Any idea when they will post the participant section of the web site? The vendor and cooker apps are the same. I'm a little confused by the app itself. Has anyone else already registered?

Dave - I see that it's a three day event. What day are the turn-ins? Also, do we KCBS cooks have to be there all three days?

Thanks,

Re: Eagle Rib Cook Off and SpudFest
Hey guys,
Just wanted to let you know that if you go to the www.idahoribs.com website you can get the form that you need. It is under forms and the one you want is the cooker form. (even if you want to vend - that should be cleared up by the end of the day) You will note that there is a discount in the cost of the space for KCBS members and you do pay a % to the event if you decide to vend. I would love to upload them here to make it easy of you, but I can't make my file small enough to fit. If you have any other questions I would love to answer them for you. Email me or call 208-867-4409

I just spoke with Teresa and yes to both, but they have not set up any reduced room rates yet. This one is going to be huge event I would get your reg. forms in ASAP limit is 30 and Monihan believes there is 12 -15 teams signed up,

Teresa,

I understand that the competition is filling rather quickly. It would be great to have a running team list here on this forum, or under the "Participants" link on the idahoribs.com site.

Just a thought,
John
