Big Thanks to Hi-I-Que
I just wanted to throw a big thanks out Vic Bachman and his wife for their efforts and a job well done!!!!

The Scout troop in our area holds a yearly fundraiser to help pay for their scout camp and other activities throughout the summer. Traditionally they cook a dutch oven dinner consisting of chicken, potatoes, and cobbler in which I am quite heavily involved.

Vic Bachman of HI-I-Que graciously offered his services and in lieu of cooking the main course via dutchovens Vic came and cooked the chicken using his Traeger and two of my WSM's. It was a hit and there were many compliments regarding the excellent "Q" that was produced with requests to come back again next year. We used a rub recipie from a Paul Kirk article on the internet titled "How to barbecue chicken without burning it", then basted the chicken with equal amounts of olive oil and apple juice. It was a great evening had by all who attended -- Incidently the fundraiser cleared just over $900.00.

Thank You for the nice comments. I was just doing my job as an eagle scout and giving more back to scouting than scouting gave to me. Thanks for the the chance to help Lyle.
