Hey Dave, This Little Piggy BBQ featuring "sampson on the drums" will be making an appearance. Check is in the mail and I've emailed Arlie and confirmed a spot. Can't wait, this one sounds like a good time...

Re: Grill on the Hill BBQ Championship
Do you need any volunteers to help with the organization of this event? I would love to help you out with anything you need to make this a success.

What about CBJ's for this event?

Arlie -

Just an FYI... Steve (aka "saflew") is a great fellow, and both he and Dan ("Flexo") were a tremendous help to Ed Roith and me at the Park City event this past Fall... Not only in terms of rounding up volunteers and CBJ's - but Steve in particular was also an invaluable "right hand man" to Ed while he was here...

I'd sure jump on his "offer"... Ed, myself, and I think all the cooks who participated here in PC I think would give Steve our highest recommendations...

You can get that rate at either The Lodge or the Cliff Lodge. They told me that the contest will be in the middle of the 2 but that The Lodge was a little closer. So I picked The Lodge.

Re: Grill on the Hill BBQ Championship
Did that include 3 buffet breakfasts ( not continental) and a free tram ride? Cause mine did at the Cliff Lodge for $344.00 for 3 nights?

When I scheduled there was some confusion and my price was just for one person, when I got the e-mail stating such I called back and got it corrected and my price was also $344.00

I am confused though, I got a hold of someone at the Renasance center and she told me the comp is going to be in the Main Parking Lot right outside of The Lodge. A little bit later, Arlie e-mailed me back and said to stay at the Cliff. Some clarification would be nice because The Lodge is much closer to the Parking lot then the Cliff. Anyone?

Re: Grill on the Hill BBQ Championship
I just asked if your price included the breakfast and Tram ride, I am happy with the $344 and as far as the distance goes I bet its not 150 ft different,

They are still reporting over 10 feet of snow and they are planning on being open for skiing until the end of June maybe into July. Should be fun BBQ and Skiing. Dosn't get much better than that. Do you think I could put on my brisket and check it between runs.

Arlie or anyone,

Is this competition as well as the Wild West cookoff open to the general public to come out, get a few pointers, sample some of the awesome vittles, and or learn how to take a more active role within the organization?
