Finding Roasting Pig?
Anyone knows where I can buy a roasting pig? Maybe between 80 - 100 lbs dressed? I need the skin to be fully smooth, no hair.

Thanks.

I get mine in Grantsville. Same place as T does. Runs about $1.50 a pound. Call T at Q4U and he will give you the name of the guy, I can't find it right now.

Yo, here ya go 801-328-3506, ask for Ed. He slaughters on Wednesday of the week, so it's best to order on Monday or you may be with out. I get mine delivered to the restaurant on Thursday for Fridays roast. PIG from the Rig 5pm serving complete with all the trimmings. Come join the fun?

Strangely being from Alabama, this is something I have never cooked. I have eaten more than one, cooked every last part of a pig but never one together. humm... maybe a winter piggy roast project!

The one I cooked was a lot of fun, but you definitely need to have a good crowd to finish one off. For those who live south of the point of the mountain, you can get whole pigs from Garys Meats in Payson.
