We will most likely be set up by the parade route, so the family could watch the parade. The parade usually has about 120,000 watching it. You can check out the other events going on at http://www.freedomfestival.org/ somethings still have last years dates, but they do update it when they have the info.

That sure was good stuff!

Yo Dan, I believe what Jay wants are the dates? The 4th is on a Friday, so is that the start like always or will we begin on Thursday ending Friday? Just wondering myself.

I wanted to bring this up Saturday. We can do the 2&3 or 3&4. It is our decision and we need to let the Freedom Festival know.

That sure was good stuff!

I was hoping for 4-5th. I can't do 2-3rd. I can probably do 3-4th.

I was thinking the same as Jay, I dont know any details about the whole event, but there must be a reason the 4th-5th dont work? The 2nd and 3rd wont work for me, but we do thankyou for your efforts!

We could do the 4th and 5th as well. I wasn't sure if anyone wanted the night of the 4th free to celebrate. It is pretty open for us to decide.

That sure was good stuff!

Re: The 4th of July
As I have talked with T, it sounds like the whole event and the public draw to this ends Fri pm after the fire works and all the rest thats going on, so I can understand if that is true to have our turn-in on fri to promote BBQ to the public and have them around to make it a better event. With that , I am putting my .02 in for Fri turn-in, then we can all enjoy the fireworks and relax. One other point of interest, with those kinda crouds on fri pm, will the teams be able to get out of the event site with out any major traffic problems? Just thoughts, my friends

3 & 4 works for me as I have already scheduled leave for the 3rd. But 4 & 5 is ok also. **%^&$#@!*&? government workers anyway. Someone has to take the abuse.

does anyone know when Stadium of Fire is going to be held? I would assume July 4th evening, but I haven't seen anything.

I hope to Q and see the show as well!

Getting out should be fine. I don't think there would be an issue. There will be a parade on the 4th in the morning. It will be about a block away. The Stadium of Fire is on the 4th in the evening.

That sure was good stuff!

I'm down with whatever, but let's call it 3rd/4th if Jay can't make it.

But, seriously, I told Jonathan that I would be there (almost) no matter what, and I will.

Glen Beck and Hannna Montana are headlining the Stadium of fire. Wonder if they like BBQ?
As for getting out of the event with out problems. LOL The stadium of fire is one of the biggest events in the country. You won't be able to get out for hours!

Re: The 4th of July
Hello

I am new to the website. It looks great!

My wife and I became certified barbeque judges in the class at Snowbird and would love to help judge if needed at the event listed here on the 4th. We live very close to Provo so either way we will come and visit. If anyone knows if they need judges and who to contact, I would greatly appreciate the info. Thanks a lot.
