Randy

You had better get that thing loaded up and to a comp real soon. That is a nice looking smoker. Have fun with it.

Where is your house because I know you will be cooking today or sun.
Please tell me how wide the wheel measure... That might be just what I need.
You look happy.

It's less than 50" inches. That's how wide my backyard gate is. I'll measure later but I bet it's about 46". You can get the diminisions at pigroast.com. That's the Lang site. Just click on the Lang 36 Patio model.

By the way, I was pleasantly suprised to see that it was quite a bit larger than my Charbroil side box smoker. Yeah, I'll be cooking tomorrow. I've already seasoned it early this morning. I'm excited.

Looks good... I think it will make a great contribution to your plans to compete... once you retire!

Good to see you again yesterday, thanks for helping out!

I will check on the wheelbase. I picture a small little hitch on it so I can pull it up and down the gravel path behind the ATV. I like those man looking knobbies on it!
the spec sheet says 39" but is that the wheelbase?? looks wider than that. can you measure it.
did you price the 1/4" thick model?
Is it very common for smoker bodies these days to be made of painted SS?
I guess that means it should look great in 10 years?

RE: Lang 36 Backyard BBQ Delivery
Thanks. I'm having a real fun time smokin in this rain storm and wind. Had to put a pop-up 10x10 over the Lang. It's holding its own. Fairly steady at 225-250 as long as I keep it fed. Not bad for the downpours and wind we are having in Hooper. I've got ribs and a small brisket flat (4 lb'er) on the Lang and 20 thighs on the Treager just for fun. I'm lovin' it.

RE: Lang 36 Backyard BBQ Delivery
Glad to help T. Will do. Pam says hello right back 'atcha. Cooked some ribs, chicken, and brisket Sunday. Ribs were an 8, chicken was a bit overdone so a 7, and the brisket, while it had good flavor, was a bit tough so also a 7. I already love the reverse flow and the 1/4" steel on this smoker. Cookin' for the family Saturday (after a yard sale) so if you are in the neighborhood, drop by.

Once I get the Lang dialed in, you'll have to have a monthly organization manager meeting here so I can cook for you all. Thanks for the kind words. See you at the next comp. I'll be judging for sure.
