Lang 60 on KSL
There is a used Lang 60 on KSL. Problem is he is asking $200 more than a brand new one. I wrote him asking to come down in price so we can help him find a buyer. Hope he does, this would make a good competition cooker.

I have never used a large stick burner, is it natural for the grate in the wood box to wrap from the heat?

Not really. It means he has had a real hot fire in there. Either out of control or thinking he could do a burn out cleaning. $3000 might be inline if it had the warming box and LPG fire start with an LPG side burner, but the Lang 60 Deluxe bare bones as this one goes out the door at $2795. Driving to Georgia for factory pick up would run $1000 but shipping would be about $500. So for $300 more you get a new smoker. Worth it considering this one has been sitting outside for 2 1/2 years and needs total clean up, new paint job and fire box rebuild.

OK, I guess it helps to ask. Good news. Here is the reply from the seller:
"Hello, we will take 2500.00 for the smoker, we paid 800.00 for shipping and that is why the price is a bit higher, thanks Michelle"

This one has me thinking but if someone out there needs a good reverse flow 2009 Lang (a proven winner) better jump now. Guys it doesn't get better than this.

This makes the one on ebay recently look like a great deal.

I've got to back up a little here. The Ebay cooker was a first or second generation cooker using an LPG tank for the cooking chamber. This unit is third generation with thicker walls (1/4 inch) that was made just for the cooker. It cooks better and is more accepted by health departments for registered cookers.
