Jenson Pits
Hello all,

Last night H&D BBQ went to Plain City,UT and met with a great local pit maker, Jenson Pits. We had a great conversation with the owner Mel Jenson he went over his pits showed us some of their custom features that make their pits one of a kind.. When Mel talks to you about his pits and you see them, touch them, and just look at them you can see the care and craftsmanship that goes into these pits. These pits will smoke and grill with best of them. (Jambo,Lang I would even take mine up against a Gator.) All I can tell you is that H&D BBQ Is and will be a proud owner and user of Jenson pits for our competition BBQ team for a very long time. My fellow Barbecue Brothers and Sisters Smile I leave you with this, If you are a new team, vet team, backyard, or even just a Barbecue enthusiast and your looking for a new pit before summer kicks into full swing that is going to give many hours of love and joy, Jenson pit is the one for you. If all goes well H&D will be debuting and proudly showing off Jenson comp pits in Tooele for ICBA Contest in June.Feel free to come stop by and see them. Please if you have any questions or would love to see and talk about a great pit look for imfree2q on these forums or shoot him over a quick PM.

Thanks all for your time,

(James) H&D BBQ

Very nice looking pit and it looks quite heavy. It's for this reason that I might suggest beefing up the wheels.I lived with a heavy with wheels like this and found it a real issue pushing it up a trailer ramp. If I may be suggest, this is a worthwhile addition.

They are a Lang option. Kinda cool low profile. I'll check with them.

I Looked around a little bit at wheels like you have Larry.. All I can say is!! MAN OH MAN!! You can spend a lot of cash for those wheels.. But I do have to say they look really cool on your pit. Thanks for sharing!

Stick a motor w/chain drive under it and drive it up the ramp.
I don't see how the pellets would stay on the grate, and where's the feeding system?
I'd dare say all of you have some sort of wireless gadget for phone calls computing, e-mails ya-da-ya-da-ya.
But you cook like the cave men used to with fire, charcoal, small tree limbs.
I'll stick with my Traegers thanks.
They're paid for too. Best part.

Wish it was my pit, It's a friends. My Lang is a touch larger. The pit I had trouble getting up ramps was a Louisiana Grill.
