Very Sad Day For BBQ
Just got a call from one of the California teams informing me that one of the Pioneers in BBQ left us last night. Brent from QN4U not only was a good friend but just as most of you in the UTBBQA know, both he and his wife, Kim, were great people. The association had them up here to give a class. Those of you that had a chance to be in that part of his life, know what I'm talking about. It's hard to type anymore, but pray for him, Kim and the family. RIP my brother and thanks for being you.

So sad and sudden. What a great guy. I know Elvis loved good BBQ and I'm sure the two of them are having a good chat. Contest over Brent, you are all nines in my book.

I never had the chance to meet Brent personally, but I read and saw quite a bit of his work online. He was a legend and icon to the BBQ world.

Thoughts & Prayers...RIP
