Solar eclipse
We're down in Cedar City to witness the annular eclipse Sunday evening. It will start at about 6:30, peaking at 7:30 pm. Will try to post a pic. The coverage of the moon can be seen from Salt Lake. Eye protection is needed to look at it directly.

To make it a bbq post, I saw a bbq joint called "Sonny boys". Any one ever visited it before?

Good times all

RE: Solar eclipse
I live in Cedar so we had a great view of it from our backyard.

Sonny Boys is okay, nothing really spectacular but the deep fried cauliflower is actually pretty good. If you do get down this way and end up driving through town, look for a mobile set-up called Fatty's BBQ. It is ran by a guy named Stan Jacobs and it is really good. He usually sets up at the junction of hwy 14 and 89 but the road washed out last year so access to the other side of the mountain is limited for a little while so for now he is running it in the middle of town, usually in front of Ace Hardware.

I think I saw the trailer Saturday evening. When I got back down the road later, it was gone. I would have loved to try it though. I'll be there again sometime. Thanks for the info.

The next big solar eclipse near here won't be until August of 2017 up around Yellowstone. Looking forward to it.

RE: Solar eclipse
Great pics of the eclipse. We tried to see it here in SLC but a cloud moved in front of the sun just as it started to happen. Oh well.
