I know we all love BBQ, however I'm curious to find out what some of your other favorite meals are. Grilled salmon is one of mine or fried chicken with potato salad. Can't forget the apple pie.

Big bowl of clam chowder at Ivar's on pier 54 in Seattle followed by a plate of butter clams in the shell.

Larry Ivar's chowder is okay but Salties is better (used to be the brunch chef there) Smile ! For me its Tenderloin Medallions wrapped in bacon with fresh green pepper corn cream sauce, roasted fingerling potatoes with herb butter and a white chocolate mousse cake I used to make, and of course home brew!

Smoked salmon or a fresh caught local trout on cedar planks, and a batch of my wife's cheese and bacon potatoes casserole. Creamy chicken squares with gravy and fresh vegetables...Tongue

It's ok but I'm a bit of a purist. Not real wild about shrimp and bacon in my chowder and $9.00 a bowl is bit much for an old clam raker like me. But I do like their crab cakes. Maybe second place for me would be the shrimp on coleslaw at Mo's. It's not as good as it was, but it still works.

Ivar's chowder is good but Mo's is really really close to it if not better.

They are grilled chicken chopped into small pieces, cream cheese, chives, chopped green onions and seasoning, ground up into 2 tablespoon mix and folded into fresh dough (pockets) then baked. Drizzled with homemade brown gravy or Campbells cream of chicken soup thickened. Goes great with mashed patatoes and greens. That's off the top of my head...Smile
