Hello I'm GOATTER
I'd like to introduce myself as I'm new to this forum. My user name is GOATTER and my name is Jeremy. I recently built a Stump's clone. I've only used the clone a couple of times but I would learn more about the art of BBQ. Before building my clone I smoked on a Great Outdoors Smokey mountain that I bought at Wal-Mart for around $100. I live in Sandy.

Here is the pic of my new clone

I look forward to meeting new people that are also intereted in BBQ.

Jeremy

Nice pit!

Welcome to the forums.

Where about's are you in Utah?

Respice, adspice, prospice. Latin proverb.
Respice = you didn't use enough spice the first time! adspice = you ought to add spice, you know? prospice = you should be an advocate for spice!

Welcome Jeremy, I am David from the Half Baked Hippies, and we are happy to have you. Great looking smoker. Are you looking to get into competitions or just BBQ as a hobby??

RE: Hello I'm GOATTER
I'm not sure were I'd like to go with smoking. As of right now the only BBQ that I've been exposed to is my own and a few restaurants. Perhaps in the future I could join someone at a competition by helping or just socializing.

I'm pretty excited about smoking right now after finishing my smoker. I took nearly all summer and around 350 hours of my labor.
