RE: The Freeze your Piggys Off BBQ Challenge!
So for this comp we are thinking of inviting the public like we did for the Riverdale Caddy comp. We would like to take "donations" of food from those of you with food handlers and proper washing stations. BUT, instead of "free tastes" for the public we would like to have a one-pass buffet set up in the restaurant for $8.50 per person. We will provide pulled pork or sausage, sides and fixin's - while the other meats from you all will be on the buffet as well. Our goal is to be able to keep our costs to $2-3 per plate and split $5-$6 of every plate sold back to the participants to offset your costs for this comp. Thoughts?

Other Comp perks:

- We have a 16,000 ft Trampoline park on the other side of our parking lot - we will have info on Day passes at the cooks meeting so plan to bring the kids!

- I'm sure it will be cold so we plan to have good ol' Army style hospitality set up overnight with coffee, cocoa and soup, plus our dining room open through the night for warming yourself up.

I'm planning on being there. Haven't paid yet, but will do so this week. I might have a food handlers permit. Will have to check the exportation to be sure it's current.
Sorry, spelling isn't my doing suite.

The purse will be generated by the entry fees, the more people that enter the more there will be in the pot.

There is no extra money on this cook from sponsorship, it's just to give folks one last chance to cook, and get together.

If you are using your own computer, I would click the "remember me" box when you log in, that way it works a little better from now on.
