Well thank you Larry and a happy Christmahanukwanzakkus to you and yours too! Wink

Respice, adspice, prospice. Latin proverb.
Respice = you didn't use enough spice the first time! adspice = you ought to add spice, you know? prospice = you should be an advocate for spice!

RE: This Is Your First Greeting Card
Larry, we need to hook up some time and talk about our Langs.
I got a few questions. How long you been cooking on the Lang?

RE: This Is Your First Greeting Card
I got it last December from a restaurant in Utah county. They bought it new one year earlier so it was a little over one year old when I got it and in bad shape. It sat outside and was only used for Jerk Chicken. They really should have used a grill so it was real obvious they had no idea what it was. it had never been cleaned and the crude was up through the grate. The inside of the stack was almost closed off with crude. They said it quit cooking so they sold it. It looked like they had some real hot fires going to try to get heat through 6 inches of grease and carbon. It took a whole day cleaning to get down to metal. I turned a weed burner loose into the stack and there was quite a fire.
I've been trying to restore the paint and may end up glass bead blasting it and putting a new shiny paint on if I can find the right kind.
After clean up I did mods:
1) First day home.
2) Coal basket made

RE: This Is Your First Greeting Card
That is awesome. I need to make me a coal basket and rise it about 2 inches.
