Thanks everyone for the warm welcome's. Here's the skinny...I am new to competition BBQ and have only been back yard cooking for about 8 months but want to compete this year. I am cooking on a 22.5 wsm with a few mods and loving every second of it. The people in BBQ are some of the nicest around.
I went to the Lake Havasu comp and my wife and took the CBJ class and starting in about April we will be competing locally. Eventually I would like to do some regional cooking, but who knows where it will lead.
I'm just glad that I picked such a cheap hobby...NOT!
