Scrub Oak?
I picked up a couple nice pieces of dead Gambel (scrub) Oak last time I was in Parawan. Any one try smoking with this stuff? I can't seem to find Oak wood chunks for sale in the SLC area so I'm hoping the scrub Oak will work.

We use recycled tree pieces, (pellets) but I'm wondering if anyone has tried the mountain mahogany?I hear it is a hard to cut wood.
Probably one of those can't haul off the mountain side Forest Service taboo items now I think about it.
