It was a experiment But we all thought it turned out very good. started out brining the bird in a salt, water, apple juice, 2 sliced apples and two cinnamon sticks for 24 hours. Then we dried it off and rubbed it down with butter and salt/pepper, we smoked it with charcoal/apple wood for one half hour per pound @ 225-235. It was a show stopper, every one in our family just loved it.
